"and to the republic" is dedicated to re-establishing the Republic by focusing on the following: 1. One single 6 year term for the President 2. Term limits for all Congressmen, House and Senate, to a maximum of 12 years. 3. Change the term for a House of Representatives member to four years rather than 2 4. Implement term limits for all federal judges to a maximum of 12 years 5. Restrict laws to a single concept, limiting pork negotiations.

Breaking the Cycle
When I was a boy my father used to take me to the Post Exchange, military version of Walmart, and would often play with typewriters, typing the same saying to test the keyboard: Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country. As a kid I adopted the same habit, never realizing the impact it would have on my life. Over the last 15 years I have watched the Bureaucrats destroy this country one law at a time. How did we let this happen?
That question has led me to study the true meaning of a republic, ultimately leading me to ways to correct the disease of bureaucracy. Simply put, there are some simple steps to create meaningful change. They are:
1. The President gets one 6-8 year term, not reelection. This makes him/her focus on the tasks at hand, not take a year to campaign.
2. Term limits for Congressmen – They should have two terms of six years.
3. Term limits for Supreme Court judges – One term of 10 years
4. Create a federal consumption based flat tax program – We know the historical amount of money raised through the IRS and can levy a consumption based tax which can remove the deficit over a 20-30 year period.
5. Create one military force which has specialties based on military role. This allows each soldier to have a common background, rank, equipment and structure.
These steps will allow us to be run more efficient and effective, limiting the bureaucrats power over the common citizen and make them focus on making good decisions while they can.
